Modeling Acceleration

I think this graph the first image is pretty good because it shows different accelerations . You could tell the difference for example the green line has a greater acceleration than the blue red and purple because a is a steeper line.The  steeper the line the more acceleration it represents because it shows that it troubles a greater distance in a smaller amount of time

Acceleration

The sports car has a greater positive accceleration than the bus so it reaches the speed limit faster than the bus then after a while both of the vehicle are on a constant velocity then up ahead theres a red light the sports car has a faster negative acceleration because it weight less than the bus. The toke longer to stop because it weight more and it takes a greater forces to stop a heavy vehicles.

Speed and Velocity

Instaneous velocity - the velocity at any time 

Average Velocity - the velocity in a given period of time ex: miles per hour 

I think the differents is that one says how fast you travel in this case instantaneous velocity. The other one i think it is for example miles per hour i really dont know how to explain it . It take my friends car 8 sec for hes car to go 60. I am confuse with instantaneous but i will say that my velocity going to school is like a midium rate???? Really dont know what it means .

Distance vs. Time Graphs

Today in class we did a game where we played with with the moving ditector were we had to match the graph in the computer by moving stoping going foward etc...

I think this graphs are neccesary because we need to learn how to graph why does graph look like that and also because it teaches us how to put information in graphs etc..
